Mary Johnson

Mary Lynn Traylor Johnson, 75, of Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015. She was raised in the Blandford area of Petersburg, and was the daughter of the late Richard and Eva Traylor. She was a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Dinwiddie and was a retired legal secretary. Mrs. Johnson is survived by two sons, Phillip C. Johnson Jr. and wife, Janice of Petersburg and Brian E. Johnson of Colonial Heights; sisters, Nancy Traylor Arp and husband, Larry, of Prince George, Anna Traylor Christopher of Dinwiddie; granddaughters, Alex, Emily and Carolyn, and a grandson, Kasey; three great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and two special friends Sam & Judy. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church 12715 Acorn Dr. North Dinwiddie, VA 23805, with the Reverend Andrew Ware officiating. The family request that donations be made to the Crater Community Hospice 3916 S. Crater Rd Petersburg Virginia 23805 or the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Glen Allen, VA 23060.
