Mary Kidd

Mary Agnes Wilson Kidd, 97, a lifelong resident of Matoaca passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019. Born on December 13, 1921 in Chesterfield, she was the daughter of the late Harvey G. and Eunice Little Wilson and was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Kidd. Mrs. Kidd was a lifelong member of Matoaca Baptist Church and an active member of the Young at Hearts Club. She retired after 28 years of civil service with Fort Lee. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, a son, Kevin W. Kidd (Debra); grandsons, Kevin Jeffrey Kidd (Sarah) of Chesapeake and Kristopher Michael Kidd (Lauren) of Poulsbo, Washington; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Stafford Kidd, Madison Ashley Kidd, Weston Sawyer Kidd, McKinley Carson Kidd and Owen Timothy Kidd and will also be remembered by her good friend and neighbor, Ed Burton. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Matoaca Baptist Church, 6409 River Road, S. Chesterfield, Virginia 23803 with the Reverend Jim Burton officiating. Interment will follow in East Matoaca Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Matoaca Baptist Church.
