Mary Kirby

Mary Louise Kirby, 84, of Prince George, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Jasper N. and Amy Atherene Shaw, and the widow of James Willard Kirby Jr. Mrs. Kirby attended Faith Baptist Church, Prince George. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Anne Schneider and husband Albert; a son, John Roland Kirby; a sister, Inez Adams of Benson, North Carolina; a grandson, Andrew Kirby Schneider of Prince George; a nephew, Latham Padgett of Henrico. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend George Denbeck officiating. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
