Mary Reid

Mary Anne Peebles Reid, 71, of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Walworth L. Peebles Sr. and Elizabeth Jones Peebles. She was a retired Secretary with the City of Richmond. She is survived by two brothers, William D. Peebles and wife, Anne of Utah and Robert B. Peebles and wife, Athena of Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Evelyn C. Peebles of Petersburg; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Luke's Anglican Episcopal Church, 555 River Road West, Manakin-Sabot, Virginia 23103. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
