Mary Ruxer

Mary Jo Ruxer, 91, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 in Fairfax, Virginia. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lloyd Ruxer, Sr. She is survived by her children; Robert Lloyd Ruxer, Jr and David William Ruxer; her grandchildren, Robert Lloyd Ruxer III, Erin Elizabeth Hagedorn, Matthew David Ruxer, Andrew William Ruxer, and Avery Alexandra Ruxer; and her great grandchildren, Calista Renae Ruxer and Dylan Matthew Ruxer. A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Friday, December 2, 2016 at Wesley United Methodist Church 3701 Conduit Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dr. Donna Mott officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday December 1, 2016 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to the time of the service at the church.
