Mary Shepperson

Mary Bell Shepperson 92, of Chesterfield passed away Friday January 13, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Lenius James and Myrtle Virginia Andrews Bell. Mrs. Shepperson was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Walter Shepperson, Sr. and a son Joseph Walter Shepperson, Jr. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and the Phillips Fire Department Senior Citizens Group. Mrs. Shepperson is survived by her sons Maldon E. Shepperson Sr., and wife Shirley B., Carl A Shepperson Sr., and wife Irise, Gerald D. Shepperson and wife Sylvia, R. Ray Shepperson and wife Filomena, Stanley L. Andrews Jr. and wife Willie, daughters Carleen S. Gibson, Betty S. Whittington, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 9227 River Road, South Chesterfield County Virginia 23803, with the Reverend Michelle E. Lindsey and the Reverend James Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Gill Grove Baptist Church Cemetery 10726 River Road, Chesterfield County Virginia 23838. The family will receive friends Monday, January 16, 2012 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
