Mary Traylor

Mary Frances Brooks Traylor, 96, of Matoaca, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011. She was the daughter of the late William Christopher and Allie Cornell Griffin and the widow of John O. Traylor. Mrs. Traylor is survived by a son, Johnnie Brooks and his wife, Louise of Dinwiddie; a daughter and son-in-law, Frances LaVerne and John McAllister of Dinwiddie; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Frank Mills officiating. Interment, East Matoaca Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
