Mary Skinner Vaughan; 92 of Ettrick, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Nellie Cunnyngham Skinner and was the widow of Allen Browder Vaughan. Mrs. Vaughan was a member of Ettrick Baptist Church and attended Ettrick United Methodist Church. She and her husband were the proprietors of Hill Top BBQ restaurant in Ettrick for over 50 years. Mary was active in many different functions thru out her community. She is survived by a son, Charles A. Vaughan and his wife, Deborah of S. Chesterfield, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2016, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Bert Browning officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia.
