Mary Ware

Mary Louise Farrell Ware, 91, of Richmond, passed away Monday July 25, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Francis Joseph and Mary Phillips Farrell, and was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Richard Samuel Ware Jr., U.S. Army (Ret) and a son, Richard S. Ware III. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Rebecca O'Dell of Chesterfield; six grandchildren, Kali Ware, Aaron Ware, Lauren Ware, Brian Andrew, Michael O'Dell and Kristin O'Dell; two great-granddaughters, Kimberlee Walker and Elizabeth O'Dell; a sister, Marjorie Farrell of Ohio. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2011 in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday July 29 2011 in Westminster Canterbury Richmond, 1600 Westbrook Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23227. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westminster Canterbury.
