Mary Reams Williamson, 89, of Dinwiddie, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born in Granville County, North Carolina on July 17, 1931 to the late Calvin and Mattie Reams and was a lifetime member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Williamson retired from Brown and Williamson and was a longtime volunteer at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Williamson. She is survived by her children, Wayne R. Williamson Sr. (Aggie), Wanda Adkins (James), and Cheryl Joyner (Wayne); grandchildren, Wayne Williamson Jr. (Tanya), Chris Williamson (Tiffaney), BJ Blankenship (Whitney), Amanda Pecht (Ryan), and Jessica Childress (Thomas); great-grandchildren, Caleb, Micah, Mallory, Cassidy, Emily, Olivia, Hannah, Colton, Harper, Campbell, Liam, and Carson; great-great-grandchildren, Adaline, Seth, Avery, and Alaina; and siblings, Joe Reams, Edith Branch, and Ada Matthews. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, South Prince George, Virginia 23805 with Rev. Rodney Jenkins officiating.
