Mary Yeratt

Mary P. "Becky" Yeratt, 67, of Hopewell, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Johnston Willis Medical Center. She was born August 20, 1948 in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Thomas Samuel Pleasant Jr.; and was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Howard Pleasant. Mrs. Yeratt was a member of West Hopewell Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her loving husband, John Percy Yeratt; a daughter, Pamela Y. Witt and husband, Skip of Dinwiddie; one grandson, Jacob C. Witt of Dinwiddie; her mother, Mildred Treaster Pleasant; a sister, Cathy P. Griffith of Chesterfield; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. William Laun and the Rev. Jonathan Waits officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday May 30, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a tax deductible memorial contribution may be made to The Hawthorne Cancer Foundation at 1401 Johnston Willis Dr., Richmond, Virginia 23235.
