Matthew Mcmullen

Matthew "Stump" McMullen 32, of Chester, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Cecil Douglas Persinger and his paternal grandfather Franklin Delano McMullen Sr. Matthew was an Automobile Mechanic, he loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing, working on cars, no matter what he always was a very personable type of person and loved being with his children. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Caitlin McMullen, son Ayden McMullen, daughter Charlie McMullen, son William "Carter" McMullen, maternal grandmother Nancy Persinger, paternal grandmother Rachel McMullen, father and mother Franklin D. and Chrystal P. McMullen brother, Johnathan McMullen and wife Monica, nieces and nephews Hailey, Natalie, Cecilia and Johnathan Jr. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Funeral services will be private.
