Matthew Monse

Matthew Ernest Monse, 36, of Huntsville, Alabama, formerly of Colonial Heights, went home to his Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wolfgang and Peggy Monse; maternal grandparents, Jonathan and Lucile Lowe; and daughter, Kira Monse. Matthew was an active member of The Rock Church in Huntsville, Alabama, and the owner of 1Stopmovers. He loved helping people, as well as travelling to many concerts, and spending time with the love of his life, Carla Swift. He is survived by his son, Jayln Monse; his parents, John E. and Lynne Lowe Monse; siblings, Rebecca Monse and Daniel Monse & fiancée, Ashley; uncles, Peter Monse and wife, Donna, Mark Monse and wife, Evangeline, and Jon Mark Lowe; his best friend, Paul Micheletto; and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Interment will be private. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
