Maybelle Fitzgerald

Maybelle Lowe Fitzgerald, 75, of Colonial Heights, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Henrico Doctors Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robbie Campbell and Percy William Lowe and was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Earl Fitzgerald, and two grandsons, Peter Gordon and Andrew Scott Fitzgerald. She is survived by a son, Norman William Fitzgerald of Lorton, Virginia; a daughter, Darlene Fitzgerald Barnett and husband, Lewis G. of Aydlett, North Carolina; sister- and brother-in-law, Roberta L. Wills and Isaac (Buddy); brother, Percy William (Bill) Lowe, Jr. all of Madison Heights, Virginia; three granddaughters, Catherine Alexander Fitzgerald, Ashley Elizabeth Barnett, and Lori Barnett Sweeney M.D. and husband, Eric; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008 in the Chapel of Byrum-Parr Funeral Home, 7661 Patrick Henry Highway, Roseland, Virginia 22967. Interment Beech Grove Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. The family will also receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Byrum-Parr Funeral Home.
