Melvin Hart

Melvin Clarence Hart Jr., 76, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at MCV Medical Center. Born in Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Ellen and Melvin C. Hart Sr. Mr. Hart was a veteran in the United States Coast Guard, and a retired Civil Service employee. He is survived his wife of 15 years, Ann J. Hart; step-son, James Roeth and wife Sharon, step-grandson Christopher Roeth, his children Judy Hart, Richard Hart, Susan Hart, Linda Hart and a special friend Jean. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday February 1, 2014 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. Interment will be Private.
