Merle Kay

Mrs. Merle Evely Kay of Colonial Heights passed away January 19, 2009 at age 101. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Merle was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas W. Kay. She is survived by three children, Joan K. Burton (Beverly), Diane K. Koster (Joseph), and Douglas A. Kay. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Karen M. Kay. She is survived by six grandchildren, Boyd K. Burton, Tina M. Burton, Kristi K. Burton, Blair K. Koster, Mindy C. Kay, Scott D. Kay; and two great-grandchildren, Karen Elaine Kay and Sterling Michael Kay. Graveside service will be private. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
