Merle Murray

Merle Bulifant Murray 83, of Colonial Heights, died Wednesday February 10, 2010 at Chippenham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Paul Bulifant Sr., and Bertha May Wilkerson Bulifant. Mrs. Murray was preceded in death by her husband Warren N. Murray Jr., and a grandson Christopher Michael Murray. She was a member of Covenant Christian Fellowship in Colonial Heights. Mrs. Murray is survived by her sons; Pastor Michael W. Murray and wife; Linda of Colonial Heights, Patrick L. Murray and wife; Brenda of Glen Allen, grand daughter; Angela Murray Elliott and husband; Sergeant Lee Elliott of Chesterfield, two great grandchildren; Carley Marie and Molly Lee Elliott, brother Paul Bulifant Jr., of Colonial Heights and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews . A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 13, 2010 in Blandford Cemetery Petersburg, Virginia, with Pastor Mike Murray of Covenant Christian Fellowship officiating. The family will receive friends Friday February 12, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
