Michael Peden

Michael Randy Peden, 62, of S. Chesterfield passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Born February 10, 1956, he was the son of Ethel Harris and the late Andrew Lee Peden and was also preceded in death by his son, Michael Andrew Peden; and brother, Opha Peden. Michael worked for Sherwin Williams Paint for about 20 years. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his mother, Ethel Harris Peden; sisters, Dianne Gardner and husband, John, and Gwen Journey; brother John Peden; lifelong best friends, Louie Michalic, Fred Parker, Butch Elyer, Larry Wilson, Eddie Harvey, Richard Hughes; special cousin, Gordon Nelson; and numerous nieces and nephews that he cherished dearly. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will be private.
