Mildred Redd Milliner, 71, of Colonial Heights, passed away January 3, 2021 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Petersburg, Virginia on April 2, 1949 to the late Willie James and Patty Lelia Simmons Redd. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Louis Wade Milliner Sr.; son, Robert Wade Milliner; granddaughter, Jessie Marie Milliner; grandson, Richard Steven Hetrick; sister, Carol Mayton; and brother, Richard Redd. Mildred was a retired school bus driver for Amelia County Public Schools. She is survived by two sons, Louis Wade Milliner Jr. (Shawna) and Kenneth Edward Milliner (Tammy); daughter, Janet M. Williams and son-in-law Donnie; daughter in-law, Dawn Hetrick; brothers, James Redd, Homer Redd, Stuart Redd, and Willie Redd all of Virginia; sister, Loretta Vandhitch of Georgia; grandchildren, Ryan Milliner, Robert Milliner, Angle Milliner, Jacob Milliner, and Daniel Akheri; and great-grandchildren, Reagan Milliner, Shaylen Saunders, Brandon, and Alaria. Mildred was a loving mother grandmother and great-grandmother. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1901 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. Her remains rest on Wednesday January 6, 20201 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
