Mildred Thompson

Mildred S. Thompson, 78, of Petersburg went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2015. She was born May 24, 1936 to the late Rogie S. and Elsie Lee Sheffield, and the widow of Raymond A. Thompson. Mrs. Thompson worked for numerous Grocery Stores in the Tri Cities area. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Thompson and special friend, Frank; and her special friend, James Burchell Sr. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, Prince George, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
