Millicent Watts

Millicent Bush Watts, 91, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022, after a brief illness.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Bush; mother, Millicent Bush; husband, William S. Watts; daughter, Judy Watts Bodenheimer; and granddaughter, Barbara Grant.

She is survived by her sons, Donald William Watts Sr. (Carol) and F. Alan Watts; grandchildren, J. Riley Combs (Teresa), Natalie Bultje (Kevin), Donald W. Watts Jr. (Nadine), and Jessica Musso (Sal); twelve great-grandchildren, a sister, Elizabeth Payne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Millie, as she was affectionately known by most, and Bill were married on April 1, 1947. They resided in Colonial Heights and raised their three children. Millie worked in the banking and travel industries for many years until she retired. Millie was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in September 1977- she always enjoyed talking with others about the Bible and her faith was so strong. She had many hobbies including gardening, knitting, spending time with her family, and traveling all over the world.
