Morgan Lunsford Jr.

SFC United States Army Retired Morgan David Lunsford, Jr., 68, of Petersburg passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016. Born on March 3, 1948, he was the son of the late Morgan Albert and Lucille Benton Lunsford. After 23 years of dedicated service, Mr. Lunsford retired from the Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Rosa M. Lunsford; and many special friends. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia, 23805, with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Interment will be private.
