Morton Moyer

Morton Stuart Moyer 81, of Chesterfield, died Saturday August 15, 2009 at Johnston Willis Medical Center. He was the son of the late Morton A and Pauline Dunlop Moyer. Mr. Moyer was a United States Army Veteran, and a member of Woods United Methodist Church, He was also a retired employee of E.I. DuPont. He is survived by his wife Beulah Mae Moyer, sons Kenneth Dale Moyer and wife Corrine, of Chesterfield, Michael Ray Moyer and wife Barbara of Mechanicsville, Stuart Wayne Moyer of Claremont, grandchildren Amanda Moyer Fowlkes and husband Travis, Ashley Moyer James and husband P.J., Michael Roy Moyer, Matthew Ray Moyer, Bryan Broughton, Shelley Broughton, one great grandchild Mandy Raelyn Fowlkes, and one sister Beulah S. Lankford. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 19, 2009 at Woods United Methodist Church 7200 Hickory Road Petersburg, Virginia 23803, with the Reverend Doug Gilfillan officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Chester, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday August 18, 2009 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
