Myrtle Crawford

Myrtle J. Spain Crawford, 74, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Dinwiddie County, she was the daughter of the late Paul L. and Josie Schmidt Spain and the widow of Edward M. Crawford. Mrs. Crawford is survived by a daughter, Donna C. Romer; two sons, Frank and Roy Crawford; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Sally Wright and Thelma Owen; a brother, Horace Spain; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Michael Osborne officiating. Burial to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
