Myrtle Foster

Myrtle Gill Foster, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Cooper C. and Kate Wicks Gill, and was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Addison Foster. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Ettrick. Mrs. Foster is survived by a daughter, Faye Foster Dolan of Dinwiddie; a son, Bennie Bruce Foster and wife, Pat of Colonial Heights; seven grandchildren, Tracie Lewis, Christopher Cullop and wife, Chung, Anita Dolan, Kerry Lynch, Perry Lynch and wife, Sally, Frankie D. Foster and wife, Carol, and Bennie G. Foster and wife, Tammy; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Leslie Dixon of Church Road; numerous nieces and nephews; and her loving K-9 Pearl. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday (tonight) at the funeral home.
