Myrtle Jenkins

Myrtle Garner Jenkins, 83, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010. She was the widow of Wesley W. Jenkins, and the daughter of the late Benjamin O. and Ida Holland Garner. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by a son David O. Jenkins and wife Tina of Fredericksburg, Va.; daughter, Sherry Jenkins Polonsky and husband Pete of North Carolina; grandchildren, Mandy Jenkins, Casey Schneider, Kayla Polonsky, Jenna Polonsky and Pete Polonsky Jr.; great granddaughter Payton Schneider; brother Frank Garner and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 30, 2010 in Holly Lawn Cemetery Suffolk, Virginia, with the Reverend Deborah Fair officiating. The family will receive friends Monday November 29, 2010 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard 23834.
