Nadine Jeffries

Nadine S. Jeffries, 89, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Ruby Monroe Sullivan, and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. "Jeff" Jeffries Jr., and a son, Richard C. Jeffries III. Mrs. Jeffries was retired from Peebles Department Store. She is survived by her son, Gary Jeffries and wife, Sonia Peyton-Jeffries of Richmond; grandchildren, Justin R. Jeffries of Chesterfield and Gemma G. Jeffries of England; great-grandchildren, Chayce R. Jeffries and Monet M. Hutchinson both of England; brothers, Charles Sullivan of California, Leland Sullivan of Colonial Heights and Terry Sullivan of Mechanicsville; sisters, Phyllis McCarter of Colonial Heights, Betty Wells of Colonial Heights, Patricia Spain of Richmond, and Pam Brockwell of Colonial Heights; special nieces, Donna Slade of Colonial Heights and Joy Edwards of Hopewell; numerous nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Marjorie James of Colonial Heights. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with the Reverend James Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
