Nancy Schirtz

Nancy Ann Kinslow Schirtz, 82, of Midlothian, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Ginter Hall Assisted Living Communities, Richmond, Virginia. Born in Onondaga County, New York, she was the daughter of the late Bernard James Kinslow Sr. and Lydia Dygert Kinslow, and the widow of Jack H. Schirtz. Mrs. Schirtz is survived by daughters, Susan Hogan of Midlothian, Virginia and Carol Meadows of Chesapeake, Virginia; sons, James Wallen of Tucson, Arizona and Jack Schirtz of Chittenango, New York. Nancy was blessed with four grandchildren, Hillary, Kari, Jack and Christopher; and six great-grandchildren. Nancy will be missed for her contagious laugh, mischievous ways and energetic spirit. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805 with the Reverend David Prather officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
