Neal Hager, Jr.

Neal Osgood Hager Jr., 80, of Chester, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020.  Born on August 12, 1940 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Neal Osgood Hager Sr. and Margaret Cummings Hager.

Mr. Hager proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a retired Director of information systems for E.R. Carpenter, Richmond, VA.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Pritchett Hager; children, Holly Moody (William), Mary Chappell (Bubba) and Troy Golden (Melanie); grandchildren, Kierston Alexis Harper, Jeffery O’Neal Harper, Neal Chappell, Kendall Chappell, Brody Golden, Bryce Golden and Addison Golden; brothers, David Jon Hager (Elaine Gillio), Alan Hager (Linda) and Ed Hager (Pam); and numerous nieces & nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
