Neawasa Wooldridge

Neawasa Jean Wooldridge, 80, of Chester passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at River View on the Appomattox in Hopewell. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Hazel Blankenship Hammons and was the widow of Joshua Lee Wooldridge, and was also preceded in death by her brother, Clowney Hammons. Mrs. Wooldridge is survived by a son, Rondy Lee Wooldridge and wife, Pam of Colonial Heights; daughters, Darla Wright and husband, Dave of Quinton and Donna Ebright and husband, Bobby of Chester; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and sisters, Leda Hawthorne of Alabama and Juanita Wooldridge and husband, Henry of West Virginia. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2017 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Jackie Payne officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
