Nita Toombs

Nita Lynn Toombs, 37, of Carson, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2012. Nita was a former employee of Colonial Heights Health Care Center. She is survived by her parents, Charlie & Janet Toombs; a daughter, Colleen Renee Brown; a son, Jacob Toombs Brown; a sister, Charlá Toombs Short and husband, Steve; brothers, Patrick Fleming Toombs and Marshall Poole Toombs and wife, Crystal all of Carson; nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins; and special friends, Lynn and Jennifer. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2012 in the Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dr. Randall Hahn officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at church. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
