Nora Cox

Nora B. Cox, 88, of Chesterfield, formerly of Matoaca, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. Born in Colonial Heights, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Fannie Green Bosher, and the widow of Thomas D. Cox Jr.. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn W. Morgan; a grandson, Kevin Blick; a brother, Claiborne Bosher; and a sister, Pauline Watkins. Mrs. Cox was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Sprouse and husband Dean of South Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Nolyn and Lynsy Sprouse and Dennis Blick Jr.; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Gloria Davis, Carlton Bosher and wife, Caroline and Lillian Grubbs. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend John Brothers officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
