Norma Pulley

Norma Jean Pulley, 77, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away after a long battle, fought with grace and dignity at John Randolph Medical Center on Monday, November 6, 2017. Born to the late Rosebud Cousins and Ralph Dowdy, Norma was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert "AP" Robert Pulley; siblings, Nancy Hundley, Becky Dowdy, James Dowdy, and Jerry Dowdy. Norma Jean enjoyed her hobbies like reading and traveling but especially enjoyed her time at the beach. She is survived by her children, Tracy and Jason Buetow, Karen Huber and Bryan Reedy, and Chris and April Pulley; grandchildren, Megan Cates, Ryan Huber, Zachary Huber, Alex Pulley, Emma Eggleton, Dylan Pulley, and Caroline Buetow; brothers, Michael Dowdy and Ralph Dowdy; numerous nieces and nephews; and cousin, Frances "Fig". A funeral service for Mrs. Pulley will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the funeral home.
