Novella Anne Earman

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Novella Anne Earman (Mo), who passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the age of 80. 

She was a kind, loving and nurturing woman that was there for anyone (or animal) that needed her. She was mother and grandmother to many, biological or not. She gave her all to be with those she loved until God called her home for a joyous family reunion. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; parents, Paul and Margaret Nickels; children, Mike, Toddie, David and Joseph, as well as several miscarriages; brother, Bob; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

She is survived by her sister, Brenda (Joe); grandchildren, Brandi, Aaron, Crystal and Dana; great-grandchildren, David, Dustin, Dakoda, Brycen, Bryleigh, Brooklyn, Brenna, Aaron Jr, and Aryahna; great-great-grandchildren, Keaton, Ryker, and Kya; as well as a multitude of other family members and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
