Okey Raymond Killingsworth, 86, of North Dinwiddie, Virginia, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023. Born on January 14, 1937, in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Howard and Florence Gearhart Killingsworth. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Alva Jean Durbin, and his brothers, Daniel S. Killingsworth and Howard Killingsworth, Jr.
There are no words to express the love that he had for God, his family, and playing golf with his dear friends, Ed Burton, Henry Cates, and Herbert Small.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mayben O. Killingsworth; his children, Mina K. Snead and husband, Byron Thiesing, Richard L. Killingsworth and wife, Amy, and James Brandon Killingsworth and wife, Schereda; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Macy Lou Carter of West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Interment will be private.
