Olga Myers

Olga Wells Myers, 104, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday October 31, 2012 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Herbert Myers, and the daughter of the late Charles and Martha Grant Wells. She was retired from Titmus Optical with over fifty years of service, and was a charter member of former Memorial United Methodist Church in Petersburg. Mrs. Myers is survived by a nephew, Charles M. Ruxton and wife, Elaine of Chesterfield; nieces Jane Betts, of Seattle Washington, Jane Beacon and husband, Earl, of Tallahassee, Florida and Ruth Boyd and husband, Tommy of Chester; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, with the Reverend Mike Watts officiating. The family will receive friend Friday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
