U.S. Veteran Pablo T. Paseos, 74, of Petersburg died Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Mr. Paseos was preceded in death by his mother, Custodia Tripoli Paseos, father, Alejandro Paseos, brother, Anselmo Paseos, all of the Philippines, and brother, Teodoro Paseos of St. Louis, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Erlinda Sanchez Paseos of Petersburg; sons, Paul G. Paseos and wife, Diane of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Clint T. Paseos and wife, Amber of Navarre, Ohio, and Burt A. Paseos of Los Angeles, California; daughter, Delilah Stoughton and husband, Richard of Mahinahina, Hawaii; one grandchild, Abygail Sue Paseos of Brewster, Ohio; sister, Espectacion Paseos and sister-in-law, Ligaya Paseos both of St. Louis, Missouri; niece, Tessie Para and husband, Sonny of Granite City, Illinois; great-niece, Juliet Bulatao of Jersey City, New Jersey; sister, Consuelo Agarao; brother, Fernando Paseos and wife, Odette, and several nieces and nephews all of the Philippines. Known to many of his friends as Paul, he served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. After his assignment on the USS Boston CAG-1, he served 15 years shore duty at the Brunswick Naval Air Station in Maine. Paul was a true jack-of-all trades: an avid golfer, fisherman, artist, musician, chess player, and carpenter. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Church of the Sacred Heart, 9300 Community Lane, with Father Jay Wagner celebrant. Interment Church of the Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 South Crater Road.
