Pamela Sue Edwards

Pamela Sue (Hayes) Edwards, age 64, of Richmond, Virginia passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven B. Edwards; father, Norris (Skip) Hayes; stepfather, Frank Kipp; and niece, Jacey Maxey.

A proud graduate of Lee-Davis High School, Pam had a gift for making everyone feel welcome—she truly never met a stranger.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: camping under the stars, feeling the wind on her face while boating, and caring for the horses that held a special place in her heart. She loved getting lost in a good movie, dancing like nobody was watching, and sneaking in a well-earned nap whenever she could. But above all, Pam cherished time with her family, filling every gathering with warmth, humor, and that unforgettable, radiant smile.

Her sense of humor was unmatched, her kindness boundless, and her presence irreplaceable. Those lucky enough to have known her will forever carry her laughter and love in their hearts.

She is survived by her boys, Daniel Bruce (Andy), Brian Hutson, and Steven Trey (Pauline); grandchildren, Scott, Cayson, and Tucker; mother, Carole Kipp; sisters, Amy Hayes, Cynthia Thompson (Sheldon) and Terrie Maxey; nephews, Robert (Spike), Jonathan (Rachael), Spencer, Cullen, and Garrit; niece, Lauren; great-nephews, Joshua, Trenton, Jayce, George; and great-nieces Morgan, Mckenna, and Lexie.

A private celebration of Pam’s life will be held in Lancaster, VA, at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Friends and family are invited to reach out to a family member for details.
