Pamela Myrick

Pamela Mae Jones Myrick, 61, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Duke University Medical Center. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia on July 4, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Dallas H. and Peggy Tooley Jones. Pamela retired as a registered nurse after many years of service to the Medical College of Virginia. She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Erwin Myrick, Jr; daughter, Peggy Elizabeth Myrick and wife, Audrey Karnes; son, Thomas E. Myrick III and wife, Colleen Atilano; two grandchildren, Jack Thomas Myrick and Alice Kathleen Myrick; brother, Dallas Harding Jones II; brother-in-law, Walter Randall Myrick; and many other extended family. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Ryan Jones officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
