Patricia Butler

Patricia Marie Butler, 61, of Sutherland, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Petersburg, and was the daughter of the late Clyde Winston Mayer Sr. and Mary Frances Emory. Mrs. Butler was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Petersburg, and was a sales representative for the Dinwiddie Monitor. She is survived by her husband, William Roy Butler; her step-father, Tommy Wade; one daughter, Mary "Becky". Mobley and husband, M. Alan Sr. of Stony Creek, one son, George E. Lewis Jr. and wife, Robin of Sutherland; three grandchildren, Wendy R. Lewis, Michael Pickard, and Amber Pickard; two step-grandchildren, Matthew Mobley and Amanda Mobley; one brother, Clyde Winston Mayer Jr. "Bubba" and wife, Rita of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and one niece, Teresa Mayer. A funeral service will be Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with Pastor Dwayne Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers are welcomed.
