Patricia Dean

Patricia O. Dean, 70, of Colonial Heights passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Dunlop House, Colonial Heights. She was the daughter of the late James W. and Minnie Burgess Ogburn. Mrs. Dean was currently employed with the Southside Virginia Training Center, with 32 years of service. She is survived by a son, Brian O. Dean and wife, Lisa of Chesterfield; a daughter, Karen P. Verlander and husband, Glenn of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Christopher & Katie Verlander, Madison, Caleb, and Jakob Dean; and many special friends A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Jonathan Dundalow officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 12 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
