Patricia V. "Tricia" Phelps

Patricia V. “Tricia” Phelps, 69 of Disputanta, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg after a brief illness. Tricia was born September 15, 1953, in Petersburg, Virginia. She was a graduate of Thomas Dale High School class of 1971 and was married on November 15, 1974, at Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church to Everett R. “Rudy” Phelps. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary # 882 and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 2. Tricia worked at Petersburg Ford for over 34 years and was the office manager. From there she went to work at Rountree Pontiac as the office manager.  She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1970 as well as a member of the Omega Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. She was preceded in death by her father, Abner E. Vincent and a sister, Susan Vincent. She is survived by her husband, Everett R. “Rudy” Phelps, mother, Doris Vincent, a brother, Edward Vincent, two sisters, Dana Bland-Benny and Janet Martin, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Mike Wicks, several nieces and nephews to include a devoted nephew Charles Haire (Joey).  All funeral services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Prince George County Fire and EMS P.O. Box 68 Prince George, VA  23875. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
