Patrick Terry Knighton

Patrick Terry Knighton, well known as “Patty” (38) of Colonial Heights. Was called home by our Heavenly Father on 10/02/2024, to gain his wings, and reunite with his beloved grandmother (Patricia Ann Mott) known as “saint momma” Patrick is survived by his mother Sandi Tharp and her husband James Tharp of Colonial Heights, Bonus parents Stephen and Lisa Robertson of Dinwiddie, one brother, Thomas Knightand Amy of Colonial Heights, one sister Rachel Robertson (sissy) and Paul, of Gretna eight nieces and nephews, Gabby, Josh, Nate, Samuel, Sophia, Damien, Gracie, Charlotte, and his 1st Great niece Nova ’Mae. Patrick was born with Down syndrome. He has been a fighter since the day he was born, though he never allowed his disability to affect his life, yet he made the best of it, Patrick was always full of love and laughter with a heart of gold, He was always a joy to be around that resulted in nothing less than a smile! He never allowed his disability to stop him from reaching his goals and shooting for the stars. Even with the challenges that come with his disability, it taught our family great lessons about empathy, compassion, and understanding those less fortunate. Patrick had a passion for Football, Wrestling, and NASCAR and developed a love for his favorite food “hamburger and French fries with a coke!
