Patsy Joyce Ketcham

Patsy Joyce Ketcham, 75, of Colonial Heights, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024. Born November 25, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Lively and Winona Stover Lively. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ketcham and her sister, Brenda Randolph. Patsy (Pat-Pat) was a devoted friend and caretaker to many in the Village of Matoaca. She loved and cared for generations of children who she took great pride in as she watched them grow up. She was a devoted homemaker and made sure her home was always open to friends and family. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with her friends and family. Patsy is survived by her sons Everett Eads (Tammy) and Shane Eads (Annette); daughters Krista DeVauld (Daniel) and Amanda Kozak (Tommy); grandchildren Madalyn, Austin, Abigail, Kyle, Clinton, Dustin, Gracie, and Emma; sister Joetta Tweedie (Alan), brother David Lively (Karen), numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much, and a strong and loving group of friends that surrounded her in life as well as during her passing. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning, April 20, 2024, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening, April 19, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
