Patti Slaughter

Patti L. Slaughter, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her home. Born in Oklahoma on January 19, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Lyla Schmitt Becker, and was preceded in death by her husband, Earl M. Slaughter. Pattie was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Larry Slaughter and wife, Pai Ling of Oklahoma, Linda Joyce and husband, Kevin of Chesterfield, Keith Slaughter and wife Cathy, of N. Dinwiddie, and Debra Padgett of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Trey Davis, Kevin Davis, Jason Slaughter, and Lauren Padgett; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim; and two sisters, Phyllis and Mary Jane all of Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Jerry Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
