Paul Burcham

Paul Gordon Burcham, 85, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the River View on the Appomattox in Hopewell. Born in Stephens City, Virginia, he was the son of the late Albert and Guida Robinson Burcham, and was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Anderson and a brother, Jerry Burcham Sr. Mr. Burcham was a member of the Colonial Heights Moose Lodge #1783 and a lifetime member of the Fraternal order of the Eagles. He retired from Allied Chemical with over forty-one years of service. He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Burcham; sons, Randy Burcham and wife, Debbie of Rockville, R. Mark Burcham and wife, Rhonda, James K. Burcham of Colonial Heights, and Tommy Burcham of Dinwiddie; his son-in-law, Eddie Anderson; a brother, Harold B. Burcham, Sr.; his sister-in-law, Sandra Burcham of Colonial Heights; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Burial to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park 1911 Birdsong Road, South Prince George, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
