Paul Moore Iii

Paul C. Moore III, 75, of Macon, Georgia passed away peacefully, September 9, 2018, surrounded by family. Born in Petersburg, Virginia, October 27, 1942, he was the son of Florence Hogwood Traylor and the late Paul C. Moore, Jr., and was also preceded in death by his step-father, John L. Traylor; and step-brother, Leslie Stell. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and later retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corporation after 34 years as a supervisor. His hobbies were woodworking, fishing, watching NASCAR racing and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Gwen Moore of Macon; son, Paul C. Moore, IV; daughter, Brandie Doyle (Craig); grandson, Jaxon Doyle; mother, Florence Traylor; brother, Jimmy Moore (Jean); sisters, Linda Hass (Billy Bain) and Brenda Gray (Jack); step-siblings, Barbara Jean Siegle, Lee Stell (Pam), Kenneth Stell (Connie); step-mother, Norma Moore, sister-in-law, Debra Lott; brother-in-law, Robert Dame (Tammy); and mother-in-law, Frances Dame. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 19600 Halloway Ave, South Chesterfield, Virginia 23803. with Pastor Scott Price officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the church.
