Paul Presley

The Reverend Paul Franklin Presley, 78, of Hopewell, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at his residence. Born in Kimball, West Virginia he was the son of the late George C. and Chole Edna Dillon Presley. Mr. Presley was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, and a grandson, Sean Michael Presley. He was a member and former pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Prince George, and a United States Navy veteran having served during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Jane Presley; his children, Paula Bowen and husband, Junior, Frances Maggard and husband, Ron, Mark Presley and wife, Kym, Keith Presley and wife, Rose, Laura Pitts and husband, Bill, and Michael Alan Presley; seventeen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church, 5501 Middle Road, Prince George, Virginia 23875. Burial will follow in Merchant's Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
