Paul Andrew Vodar, 86, of Colonial Heights, died Friday, December 19, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond. He was the son of the late John and Mary Cibula Vodar. Mr. Vodar was a United State Army veteran of W. W. II and retired from civil service as a supervisor in the transportation motor pool at Fort Lee. He is survived by his wife, Lela Bowman Vodar; sister in-law, Blanche Mahoney of Hopewell; brother in-law, Charles Bowman of Chesterfield and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2008 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with the Bp.Troy A. Kaichen officating. The family will receive friends Sunday (today) 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
