W. Pauline Cloud, 90, of Colonial Heights passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at her residence. Born December 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Arley and Ruby Smith McFalls, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Andrew Cloud; and two sons Ronald A. Cloud and David A. Cloud. Mrs. Cloud was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, where she was active with the Adult/Senior Choir, taught Sunday School for many years. She also taught Child Evangelism, and held Good News Clubs in her home many years ago. She worked with Andy Brockleman at the Convalescent Centers in Colonial Heights and Hopewell, and was also an avid bowler. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Martin and husband, Alan of Chesterfield; son, Bill Cloud and wife, Bonnie of Enon; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, W. Eileen Abrams of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania; one niece; one nephew; and devoted caregiver, Jacqueline Langdon and her son, David. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Heartland Hospice for their extraordinary care and compassion in their time of need. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 3110 Greenwood Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, with the Reverend Dr. Andy Brockleman officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield County, Virginia. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building fund.
